We think Hangouts should keep pace with how you socialize in the real-world, so today we’re launching it on the one device that's always by your side: your mobile phone.
Here’s where things get REALLY interesting. The mobile phone is just step one. Google Hangouts can now support screen-sharing, sharing sketchpads and Google Docs. You can also “broadcast” hangouts and let people tune-in without joining in. Hangouts first coming to Android 2.3 devices - iPhone support “coming soon.” As a bonus: Googles says its releasing a set of Hangout APIs. The future of communication is coming and it might look something like this.
